Africanized honey bees (AHBs)

Most Feral Beehives in South Florida are Africanized honey bees (AHBs) according to the Dept of Agriculture and (USF) University of Florida.

Africanized honey bees (AHBs) are more aggressive than the european beas and defend their colonies from a future distance in great numbers, we don’t recommend you try to destroy a beehive on your own.

Often times you only see a few bees around, but want you don’t see is the mass of bees on the other side.  Often times you are spraying the entrance and making the bees more aggressive or pushing deeper into your house.

Please don’t block the holes else they may intern try to come out inside your house.

The best defense from Africanized honey bees (AHBs) is to stay away and call Brian Moore 561-302-7928  brianthebeeman.com
